So Trials Have Been Changed...

Here are some suggestions to make them better and adjust them a little more so they are a little more ideal than they seem to be at the moment :3

Flat Entry Fees
So, I have about 11 dogs in Gromit right now, and I can't ever enter any of them because, well... no one is participating in Gromit anymore. And really, I can't blame people for not wanting to enter their dogs first, neither do I. There's way too much money loss to risk it.

If there were flat entry fees that weren't so steep, then I know at least I would just throw my dogs in for the bonuses if nothing else. Flat fees being fees that cover an entire level:

Dogbert: 5$
Scooby: 15$
Odie: 50$
Toto: 100$
Marley: 150$
Otis: 200$
Gromit: 350$

(or something around there to be more reasonable about entry fees)

Flat Win Amount
Switching things back to x2 win amount would help even it out to go along with the flat entry fees. This would drop the amount that dogs in higher levels like Otis and Gromit make, and raise dogbert up a little which would be beneficial for newer players.

Other Ideas?
Please leave feedback for other ideas or improvements on those given :) Thanks for reading.

Yeah, I have 3 dogs in Gromit I mainly use to fill up other people's trials - as they aren't capped I don't get the money out that I put in - and yeah I know I could just not enter them but I can't just stare at trials with 2 entries that don't fill up :-) <br /> <br /> Altogether, trialing is a PITA right now, a real chore. With a flat entry fee, I'd have to worry less about losing thousands of $ if I don't sit around and wait for a trial my dogs can at least place 3rd in. <br /> <br /> I think trials with less than 5 entries should run after a day. It must be annoying to wait for several days at times until they fill up in Gromit and above. If they do at all.

Flat win amount just means going back to the old system for calculating wins - all trial levels receive x2 their trial score. <br /> <br /> As of right now I beleive its<br /> <br /> x1<br /> x1.5<br /> x2<br /> x3<br /> x3<br /> x3.5<br /> x3.5<br /> <br /> Or something similar.... I can't remember exactly

Alrighty, I'm gonna give my input on each of the options.<br /> <br /> <b>Flat Entry Fees</b><br /> I would definitely support this. At almost $3000 per dog in Gromit, it's not worth trialing my dogs (I believe I have three dogs in Gromit right now?) in that level.<br /> <br /> <b>Flat Win Amount</b><br /> I'm not entirely sure what is meant by this. Could you give some examples?

Exactly Clay :( I think my one dog is over 4k entry fee. The flat entry fees are most important I think, to keep people actually trialing at least. It's kind of no fun when I have to hunt down trials all day to avoid losing a huge amount of money.

Entry fees for me for gromit is $3000 which is ridiculous at the moment. :C

Ooh, I support! I am losing a lot of money entering in some trials, and it's sort of not worth my time anymore to do that. :(<br /> <br /> Therefore, I support this idea!

Nah, I'm still basing it off the dog's trial score, not the entry fee. :)

Okay, then I am happy with it. By flat earnings I think of (for example) x 3 (or whatever) the entry fee xD <br /> <br /> if it is still TP based then I would still be happy xD

Uh, your dog would still be earning more if it has a higher TP... flat trial earnings means all levels give x2 your dog's score, which is what it used to be a while ago. Right now I believe Gromit gives x3.5 trial score, as opposed to Dogbert which gives x1 or so.

Most of your ideas are palatable to me. Except flat trial earnings. I do not think a dog with 1/4 of the TP my dog has should win the same amount as my dog if both placed equally in their individual trials. O_O <br /> <br /> I don't mind if the amount is lessened but it should still be based on the tp IMO. <br /> <br /> I also agree with Tiger about trials running with fewer than 5 entrants after a set amount of time.

What about trials running w/o 5 entrants after a given amount of time. That way in the higher levels when trials don't fill up they will still run!

This sounds fantastic, you have my full support!
